Bosnia & Croatia Boutique Wine & Culture Journey

September 3–13, 2027 | 11 Days / 10 Nights

Discover the beauty, history, food, and wines of Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatia on a small-group journey personally curated by Indira Bayer, founder of Wines of Illyria.

Explore historic towns, meet local winemakers, taste indigenous wines, enjoy regional cuisine, and experience the breathtaking landscapes of Herzegovina and the Dalmatian Coast.

From Sarajevo and Mostar to Dubrovnik and Split, this journey offers an insider's introduction to a region rich in history, culture, and hospitality.

Discover Ancient Illyria

Journey through a region where winemaking traditions date back more than 2,000 years. Long before modern borders, the ancient Illyrians cultivated vineyards along the Adriatic coast and throughout the mountains of the Balkans.

Today, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatia preserve this remarkable heritage through indigenous grape varieties, family-owned wineries, and centuries-old traditions.

Our journey combines these exceptional wines with historic towns, local cuisine, breathtaking landscapes, and personal encounters with the people who call this beautiful region home.

Journey Highlights

Sarajevo — Explore the historic Old Town, Ottoman bazaars, and the city's remarkable cultural heritage.

Mostar & Herzegovina — Discover the iconic Old Bridge, beautiful river landscapes, and the vineyards of Herzegovina.

Indigenous Wines & Local Cuisine — Visit boutique wineries, meet winemakers, and enjoy carefully selected regional dining experiences.
